Arrowhead Wood Products

Classic Sea Chest—Two sizes are available, 37” x19” or 20” x 10”.  Wood: Tamarack is one of the three larch species native to North America.  The Larches are conifers closely related to pines, firs, and spruces.  Tamarack is perhaps the most cold-hardy of any native trees in Northern Minnesota and parts of Canada.  It has some of the strongest densest wood of the conifers.  The dark grains intermixed with the white makes it one of the most interesting woods for paneling and other usage.  Construction: 3/4” thick Tamarack wood with dovetail joinery.  Exposed ends of the pins are narrow, only 1/8” - while the back dimension is 1/2”.  Two bottom skids, and side skirts around the bottom on all four sides.  The lid has end caps with dowels.  Bracket cleats on both ends for the rope.  Hardware:  Brass butt hinges for the lid, Chest chains and brass escutcheon plate over the keyhole.  Comes with lock and key.  Finish:  Sikkens—Cetol #1  A premium oil alkyd formulation that offers excellent penetration  and protection of the wood in a natural color.

Boat Book Case—The boat book canoes are made with Ash outer and inner gunwales.  Ash and White Pine are the main material.  There is a removable shelf to locate an entertainment center.  The book cases are furnished natural or with a polyurethane finish.  Painted sides are also available.

Lawn Furniture— Includes a line of White Cedar Swings and Adirondack Chairs.  The swings are manufactured in 4” and 5’ size with an A-Frame or with a chain kit to hang in a porch.  The Swing and A-Frame are made from Native White Cedar and are  finished with a natural or with a stain finish.  The Swings are supplied with a chain kit while the A-Frames come with bolts for assembly.  The Adirondack Chairs, Foot Rest, and tables are natural or finished with stain.  Patio Chairs and love seat with plant holders are in the product list.

Black Ash & White Oak Furniture—Include the following:  Sled Coffee Table w/Glass Top, Canoe Coffee Table w/ Glass Top, Porch Bench (Ash or Pine), Director Chair (Ash or Oak)

Toy Sled—Toy Toboggan—Toy Dog Sled—We built this toy sled as a child’s toy sled or as an ornamental piece to be used as a Christmas piece.  The sled could fit other needs during the year.  Toy Toboggan and Toy Dog Sled are also available.

Cedar Chest—Traditional Cedar Chest made with White Cedar and Aromatic Cedar inside panels.  The size is 28” long x 13” wide with a removable inside tray.  The framed lid is hinged in the back for opening.
